Easy Application of Compounded Creams and Suppositories
To assist patients with the administration of their compounded medications, MedQuest Pharmacy offers several delivery device options. These devices make it easier for patients to measure and apply the dose of prescribed medication, ensuring reliable delivery every time.
Tube with Measuring Stick and Tube Winder
The tube and reusable measuring stick device allows patients to conveniently and accurately measure the amount of cream their prescription requires for each dosage. The measuring stick attaches to the tube so patients can squeeze the correct amount of cream into the tube. By using the built-in plunger in the measuring stick to dispense the cream onto the desired area of skin, patients administer their dose per provider instructions.
UnoDose™
UnoDose is a metered dose topical applicator offering a five-hole cap for uniform and precise drug delivery. Each click of the device releases 0.25mL of topical compound to be applied to the area of skin indicated by the prescriber. Easy for patients to use, and simple for providers to dose adjust, the UnoDose device can be both hands-free and travel friendly.
Pump
The pump delivery device is a prefilled container with a pump dispenser. Each pump of the device measures 0.25 ml, 0.5mL, or 1mL of cream, so patients can easily dispense the dose prescribed per their unique instructions. Patients can then apply the cream to the area of their skin as their prescription indicates.
Topi-CLICK Perl®
The Topi-CLICK Perl delivery device is a prefilled container with a snap-on applicator stick to help patients dispense the proper dose of compounded cream medication. The Topi-CLICK Perl is designed for inserting vaginal creams. With a simple turn of the device’s base, patients can dispense 0.25 ml of cream per click into the applicator stick for vaginal administration, so they can easily insert the accurate dose each time.
